Who we are?
TOP80 Asia, a barometer for Asian gastronomic trends and quality, was established to recognize the incredible and exciting diversity of Asia’s culinary and hospitality scene. We seek to highlight a wide array of top destinations for unique culinary experiences ranging from cafes & bars through to hotels through to world class high-end fine-dining.
The Award recognizes the efforts of talented hospitality venues, restaurants and chefs, based meritoriously on the outstanding culinary experience they deliver. The TOP80 brand strives to cover a diverse range of categories across both the food & beverage segments and of course across all price points. What makes Top80 different?
Awards Organizer
TOP80 Asia was assembled by the Farmani Group in 2018.
Farmani Group, established in 1985, is the organizer of International Restaurant and Hotel Awards (IRHA), International Design Awards (IDA), International Photography Awards, Prix de la Photographie in Paris, London International Creative Competition, and the Annual Lucie Awards for Photography. The latter has emerged as one of the world’s most prestigious photography annual awards held at the Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Eligibility
TOP80 Asia awards are open to any restaurants, fine-dining, burger-pizzeria, bars, cafes and hotels located within Asia. From fast-gourmet to fine dining, all restaurants are eligible. TOP80 recognizes the venue in its entirety, not individuals The finalists will be selected by our jury from nominations sourced direct from you the public. Participating venues must be open to the public and in good standing.
Top80 Lists
The venues on the top 80 list receive an TOP80 Asia trophy, an official certificate, brochures and stickers for promotional purposes. In addition, the winners will be promoted in a newsletter to 100,000 subscribers and potential customers worldwide, and year-long coverage on our website and social media channels.
There will be an exclusive Top 80 regional list along with Top 80 country specific lists.
Nomination Details
Public nomination: Members of the public can nominate restaurants, fine-dinning, bars, burger-pizzeria, cafes and hotels that they have personally visited over the past 2 years. To avoid any conflict of interest, members of the public may not vote for venues that they are currently employed at. Further, any venues close post nomination will not be eligible to make the Top80 list.
Jury nomination: The Jury makes a final vote based on the nominations provided by members of the public. There is no limit to the amount of venues each juror decides to nominate and vote upon. The jury may not vote for any venue that they have financial interest in. Rating is based on the following criteria: food Menu composition, food presentation, taste, balance of flavors and textures, value for money, hygiene, service, and ambiance.
