Our platform serves the sole purpose of recommending restaurants based on popularity and our jury experience. All restaurants names and logos are subject to copyright by the owners of the restaurants. TOP80 Restaurants Asia only uses their names as reference to their excellence in the culinary scene.

Eligibility

TOP80 Restaurants Asia awards are open to any restaurants located within Asia. From cafes to fine dining, all restaurants are eligible. TOP80 Restaurants Asia only awards restaurants and not it’s staff/owners. The finalists will be selected by the jury from the list nominations. Participating restaurants must be open and in good standing.

TOP80 Lists

The restaurants on the TOP80 lists have to option to purchase promotional content such as a trophy, official certificate, brochures, stickers, logo usage, and media coverage. In addition, the winning restaurants will be promoted in a newsletter of 100,000 subscribers, potential customers worldwide, year-long coverage on our website, and critical acclaim by our distinguished panel of judges.

Nomination Details

Public nomination: Members of the public can nominate up to 10 restaurants that they have personally visited from up to the last 2 years. To avoid conflict of interest, members of the public may not vote for restaurants that they are currently employed at. Restaurants that will close in the near future will be disqualified.
Jury nomination: The Jury makes a final vote based on the list of nominations gathered by members of the public. There is no limit to the amount of restaurants the each juror votes for. We encourage them to vote for the restaurants that they have visited in the last 12 months. The jury may not vote for any restaurant that they have financial interest in. Rating is based on the following criteria: Food Menu composition, food presentation, taste, balance of flavors and textures, value for money, hygiene, service, and ambience.

Use and Ownership of Materials

Copyright and all other rights remain with the venue. Any images used by TOP80 Restaurants Asia shall carry the venue’s credit line. TOP80 Restaurants Asia may use images for nomination/winner display purposes and media sponsor publications.
Neither affiliates or partners assume any responsibility for materials submitted in violation of competition rules or for those which violate copyright regulations. TOP80 Restaurants Asia will investigate claims of copyright infringement to the best of its ability, and will remove and disqualify submissions that are clearly demonstrated to violate copyright and/or competition policies. TOP80 Restaurants Asia will act to maintain the integrity of the competition and its affiliated entities, but is not responsible for any damages resulting from images submitted in violation with rules and regulations.

Payments

There are no fees for being listed on the TOP80 list. No venue may purchase a placement on our lists. Winners are selected exclusively from our jury’s experiences and industry expertise. TOP80 Restaurants Asia generates its revenue from sponsorships and sales of promotional material. This option will only be available to winners.

Winners Benefits

TOP80 Restaurants Asia receives international publicity and exposure. In contrast to many other lists and awards, all the associated perks of being on the list are free. We provide exposure throughout our media partners.
