Born to a family of physicians in Southern Africa, a healthy lifestyle and nutritious food was central to family life, with the entertaining of relatives and guests a daily occurrence. "Seeing the end product was like watching a magic show and I couldn’t wait to start creating my own magic." She went on to study sciences, but cooking and recipe creation were her true passions. She describes herself as an artist at heart: "The kitchen is my 'studio', plates are my 'canvas' and I cook because it allows me to express my passion not just for creative food but to connect with people." Her dishes are plant-based with a focus on nutrition without compromising on creativity or taste. Her set menus takes guests on a delicious culinary journey of flavor combinations, textures and ingredients. "Food is beautiful and beautiful food is love, passion and creativity all mixed together"
