The French restaurant "Apicius" was founded in April 1983 at the Yurakucho Silkworm Hall. The name of the restaurant is derived from Marks Gavius ​​Apicius, who was a well-known foodie in the ancient Roman era and wrote "Cooking Encyclopedia", which is said to be the oldest cooking book in the world.
