Taylor Adam is a speakeasy cocktail bar in Singapore's Central Business District, hidden behind a tailor's atelier on the first floor of One Raffles Place. The bar serves up bespoke classics and is a welcome addition to the scene. The era of speakeasy bars in Singapore has seen the rise of Chinese-inspired cocktail bars like The Dragon Chamber and Mona Lounge, which were initially hidden behind false fronts and used secret passwords. However, the novelty of speakeasy bars has waned, and the idea of an unlicensed illegal drinking establishment is considered ludicrous in Singapore. Taylor Adam doesn't take itself too seriously as a speakeasy, with changing curtains and spiffily-suited bartenders. The tailor shop concept, a collaboration with Meiko Tailor, doesn't carry fully within the bar. Taylor Adam is a hidden gem in Singapore's Central Business District, offering a unique and innocuous experience for those who want to explore the world of speakeasy bars.
