Writers Bar

Writers Bar, a tribute to literary greats at Raffles Hotel Singapore, offers a curated cocktail experience inspired by the work of the Writer-in-Residence under the Raffles Writer's Residency Programme. Head Bartender Nicholas Alexander, who has experience in some of the world's best bar programs, brings his extensive knowledge and mastery to Writers Bar. He aims to inspire budding writers to reach greater literary heights by offering unique cocktails inspired by the colorful characters in "The Raffles Affair," a light-headed murder mystery set in Raffles Hotel Singapore and written by Vicki Virtue, the current Writer-in-Residence. The bar also offers a refined selection of fine Champagnes, spirits, and wines. Alexander, a mixologist and avid fan of literature, oversees the beverage portfolio at the elevated bar and beyond, including bespoke craft cocktails and spirits.
