Master Yeung Koon Yat, founder of Forum, has over 60 years of experience in the Chinese cuisine industry. His signature dish, 'Ah Yat Abalone', has earned a world-wide reputation, with national leaders like Deng Xiaoping, Jacques Chirac, and Jean Chrétien tasting it. Chinese astrologist Wang Tingzhi even wrote a piece of Chinese calligraphy affirming Yeung's abalone dish as the best in the world. Forum Restaurant in Hong Kong has been a beloved establishment for over four decades, with Executive Chef Wong Lung To describing it as the "one and only" in the city. Executive Director William Yau explains that the restaurant has never opened a second branch, reflecting its strict quality standards and the sense of belonging it provides to its customers. Head Chef Kwok Chi-wa, who has 45 years of experience, joined Forum Restaurant in 1986 and has since created a variety of classic dishes that have earned the establishment worldwide fame. To Chi-Ming, the current Restaurant Manager, credits Mr. Yeung Koon Yat's charisma for bringing the restaurant together as a family. Sommelier Jacky Chi-Man, who has extensive knowledge of wines from around the world, believes that a good wine should complement the food and not be expensive.
