Meta Restaurant

Meta, a One-Michelin-starred restaurant, is a reflection of the evolving F&B industry and Chef Sun Kim's culinary team's evolutionary approach to the menu. Chef Sun Kim, originally from Busan, Korea, moved to Seoul at a young age, where he was exposed to the F&B business. His mother was a restaurateur, and his culinary experience grew from working at Italian restaurants and French culinary training in Sydney. He also learned Japanese techniques under a Japanese chef, which shaped his approach to the kitchen at Meta. Meta's East-meets-West philosophy incorporates seasonal produce and indigenous ingredients. In 2017, the team received their first Michelin star, which was retained in 2018 and 2019. In 2021, Meta was named the "American Express One To Watch" as part of Asia's 50 Best restaurant and in 2022, it gained a ranking of 20th Best Restaurant in Asia.
