Key Coffee Kissaten

Key Coffee Kissaten

Key Coffee Kissaten キッサ is a café that combines elements of Hi-Fi cafes and Japanese cuisine, focusing on the East meets West style of YŌSHOKU 洋. The café is inspired by the unique relationship between Japan and jazz, with every note of coffee and food playing a significant role in the experience. With over 100 years of existence since 1920, Key Coffee is one of Japan's oldest and most respected coffee brands. The Kissaten is an old-style Japanese coffee shop that combines elements of traditional tea houses with a vintage look and classic jazz music scene popular in the 1920s-1980s. The café offers a comfortable, western-style atmosphere for enjoying hand-drip coffee while appreciating one's time alone or with others. The modern take on the Kissa was the idea of Bryan Chua, President of Boosterfoods Inc., Marvin Chua, Vice President of Operations, and Kathleen Chua, Marketing and Sales Manager, who wanted to bring this unique experience back home while reimagining the iconic Japanese coffee culture for Filipinos. This concept was born through the guidance and support of Key Coffee, one of Japan's most iconic brands.
