Seattle's Best Coffee, founded in 1970 by brothers Jim and Dave Stewart, aims to provide the perfect cup of coffee that is bold, full, smooth, and mellow. The company's goal is to serve great coffee in a friendly atmosphere, fostering genuine interactions and ideas. The brothers started their business with their first ice cream and coffee shop, the Wet Whisker, on Whidbey Island, Washington. They quickly outgrew their peanut roaster and opened another shop, the Stewart Brothers' Wet Whisker, on Seattle's Pier 70. They started serving espresso and refining their brews out of their growing love for coffee. In the 90s, they showcased their best brew at a local coffee-tasting competition, winning the competition. Stewart Brothers' Coffee was renamed "Seattle's Best Coffee" and continued to expand globally, using the finest Arabica beans from around the world. Coffee Master's Inc. continues to deliver bolder flavors and smoother tastes to discerning consumers worldwide, focusing on great coffee, a cozy atmosphere, and an intimate story.
