Okkio Caffe

Okkio Caffe

Okkio Coffee shops in Saigon are a hidden gem with a unique story behind every corner. Inspired by Wong Kar-Wai movies, the color pallet is predominantly red and green. Okkio has four branches, with the first being Okkio Le Loi, located in a private apartment building in colonial time next to Ben Thanh Market. The red-brown color, reminiscent of basaltic soil, is used throughout the shop, with local handmade materials like Saigon-made cement tiles asymmetrical. The second Okkio coffee shop is located in an old French villa in District 3, where many trendy coffee shops now take advantage of the beautifully constructed French country houses that witnessed the rise and decay of Saigon high society. The coffee taste can be subjective, with high-quality specialty coffee in cold-brew or simple Italian coffee. The coffee is a bit sweet and the milk is too sweet, and there is an inconsistency in the taste from one branch to another, unlike in La Viet coffee shop. The coffee taste can be subjective, with some customers finding it a bit sweet and the milk too sweet. Okkio Coffee shops are a must-visit for those looking for a unique and exclusive coffee experience in Saigon.
