Campbell House is a boutique hotel in Georgetown, Penang, opened in 2011 by Roberto and Nardya, a husband-and-wife team. After purchasing a rundown building in 2008, they transformed it into a luxurious 11-room hotel, blending colonial charm with Asian heritage. The building, originally constructed in 1903, had been a budget hotel, a red-light district, and later a neglected site. The couple used their own funds and worked with local craftsmen to preserve the structure while incorporating modern amenities. The hotel features colorful Peranakan tiles, rich wood elements, and an authentic Italian restaurant, offering guests a unique and memorable experience.
