Key Coffee Kissaten

Key Coffee Kissaten

Key Coffee Kissaten キッサ is a café that seamlessly blends Japanese café culture with western influences, offering an East meets West experience centered around YŌSHOKU 洋 cuisine. Inspired by Japan's rich jazz history and the relationship between coffee and music, Key Coffee Kissaten elevates both the sensory and cultural experience. Founded in 1920, Key Coffee is one of Japan's oldest and most respected coffee brands, bringing over 100 years of heritage to every cup. This Kissaten reimagines the traditional Japanese coffee house, fusing elements of vintage tea houses and classic jazz music from the 1920s to 1980s. It creates a nostalgic yet contemporary atmosphere for patrons to enjoy hand-drip coffee, savor delicious dishes, and unwind in a welcoming, western-style setting. The modern take on the Kissaten was brought to life by Bryan Chua, President of Boosterfoods Inc., Marvin Chua, Vice President of Operations, and Kathleen Chua, Marketing and Sales Manager. Their vision was to reintroduce and adapt this iconic Japanese café experience for Filipinos. With the support of Key Coffee, they have reimagined a unique cultural experience that merges tradition with innovation, offering a taste of Japan’s renowned coffee culture in a fresh, contemporary way.
