Founded in the 1940s by Mr. Mak Minjing and his wife Mai Kong Xiaohe, it has grown from a street stall on Jordan Road to 1958 and has been operating since then. The current manager is the daughter of the founders Mai and his wife, and continues to uphold the traditional spirit of the parents' own production.
