A distinctive Japanese restaurant "Sesshu SESSYU" Xue Zhou is a famous ancient Japanese painter, known as "the ancestor of Japanese ink painting." He traveled around Japan and Chinese temples, painted famous mountains and rivers in China and Japan, and eventually became a master of Japanese painting. After the Japanese restaurant "Teppanyaki Sessyu" was opened on the 8th floor of Cubus, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, the Japanese chef [Matsumura Katsuhiro] was hired to add Japanese cooking techniques to the cooking skills and culture of off-site cuisines with the creative spirit of the snow boat, in line with the seasons of the four seasons. The ingredients are cooked and expressed in the concept of exquisite kaiseki cuisine, becoming the first teppanyaki kaiseki restaurant in Hong Kong. Since its opening, "SESSYU" has won unanimous praise from guests from various countries including the "French Gastronomy Association" with its superb, delicious and innovative dishes.
