George Town, Penang was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in 2008 which spurred Chris Ong to save more heritage buildings in the core zone. Ong then decided to re-invest the finances from the sale of Noordin Mews and Muntri Grove into saving more likewise buildings. The latest edition to the list is the Jawi Peranakan Mansion which will start its operation soon. Down the road, more properties were added namely Seven Terraces and Muntri Grove and the latest edition to the list is the Jawi Peranakan Mansion which will start its operation soon.
