IMPROMPTU is a restaurant that combines French cooking techniques with chef services, blending classic French cuisine with the multiculturalism of the United States. The restaurant's design features bar seating and an open kitchen, creating a casual fine dining atmosphere where the dining environment and chef interact harmoniously. Chef Paul, who has worked in top-notch fine dining restaurants, aims to create a high-class restaurant where delicious cuisine is served without a formal atmosphere and where customers and chefs are relaxed. The restaurant was designed by Tienfun's host Qing Ping Chang, a Taiwanese recipient of Germany's Red Dot Design Award, Best of the Best. The green color of the lake and the land color set the tone for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The counter, made of wood and other natural elements, allows guests to picnic in a beautiful field, sharing the delicious cuisine with the chef. IMPROMPTU borrows elements from Japanese counter dining, with the main portion being the bar counter and open kitchen. The chef can open his heart and innovate, while customers can observe the events taking place within the open kitchen. IMPROMPTU sets itself apart from traditional high-class dining by creating a new experience of Casual Fine Dining.
