Antipodean Coffee Bangsar

Cafes have played a significant role in European society, serving as meeting places for communities. This idea of cafe culture migrated to Australia and New Zealand after World War II, where many immigrants found it lacking. Antipodean Cafe aims to create a central spot for expatriates and locals to meet, chat, and relax over excellent coffee and good tucker. Alun Evans, the Founder of Antipodean Coffee and Merdeka Coffee, has a long history in the F&B industry, having worked in various food and beverage ventures in New Zealand, Australia, and the U.S.A. He has sourced coffee directly from over 30 farming communities in Indonesia and has worked with coffee families to produce great coffee ethically and socially. Arlini Evans, the company co-owner, has a long history in the F&B industry and is married to Alun, who also has a passion for coffee. They live in Bukit Sentul, close to Merdeka Coffee's office and roastery.
