Tranquil is a coffee shop that was founded by two people who love books and wanted to create a space for those who love quiet and serenity. They realized that many book cafes in Hanoi only serve as decorative backdrops, not suitable for reading. To create a space suitable for reading, they decided to build a home of books and book lovers, providing a peaceful, quiet place to immerse themselves in books. Tranquil Book Club is nurtured through various monthly activities to bring the book-loving community closer together and share their feelings and knowledge. This helps young people who are not yet passionate about books to be inspired and awaken their passion. The club also receives cooperation offers from reputable publishers, libraries, and personal book collectors to conduct exhibitions or give talks introducing good books and new ones. The name Tranquil comes from the beautiful word "tranquil," which means peace and freedom from trouble. It carries a spirit that is difficult to convey through language but can only be felt. Tranquil's greatest value throughout is kindness, which is expressed through a friendly atmosphere between members, customers, and suppliers. The Tranquil name is derived from the Vietnamese word "tranquil," which means "peace and freedom from trouble." The shop's name is a reflection of the beauty of the word and its connection to books and the desire to spread knowledge and culture.
